Frank M. Hasel, PhD

BIO

Born and raised in Germany, Frank has lived in England, the United States, and Austria. His current work takes him around the globe. He enjoys the cultural diversity and beauty of the people he has met in more than 50 countries. Frank enjoys the company of good friends, delights in reading poetry and engaging literature, is inspired by beautiful acts of gentle kindness and likes hiking, exploring nature and outdoor activities.

EDUCATION

Frank studied theology in Germany, England, and the United States, where he received his Ph.D. in Religion in the area of Systematic Theology from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI. For him learning is a lifelong activity.

WORK

Frank served as an ordained pastor in Germany and was a theology teacher, dean of the theology department and director of the Ellen G. White Study Center at Bogenhofen Seminary, Austria, before he came to the United States in 2016. He currently works as the associate director of the Biblical Research Institute at the World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Silver Spring, MD, USA.
